42% of total supply are reserved in the smart contract for the backup rewards bank. It releases small amounts of Buds into the rewards pool at milestones and holidays. The rewards pool is filled by transaction fees. Hodlers can claim their rewards via a CareBuds dapp or on Bsc Scan.

6.9% of the circulating supply was set aside in a charity wallet known as the Good Buds Wallet.

4.2% of the circulating supply was set aside in a charity wallet known as the Smoke Out Wallet.

Before the launch of Buds, the amount of tokens that go into these respective wallets will be sent to smart contracts that only release 4200 tokens into team accessible wallets. Funds from each wallet will then be donated and used to host giveaways.

1% is added to Good Buds Wallet.

1% is added to the rewards pool for hodlers to claim.

0.5% is added to the Smoke Out Wallet.

0.5% is sent to a team accessible wallet, pending lottery smart contract.

Any transactions over 0.5% of the total supply will incur an additional 3.9% tax, totaling in 6.9%

CareBuds team members will always pay 6.9% transaction fee and the distribution of the fees is the same as above. If a team member sends a transaction above the 0.5% threshold, the fee doubles to 13.8%.

Only wallets whitelisted from transaction fees are the smart contracts that release Buds into team accessible Good Buds & Smoke Out wallets.

FAQ

Part of 420’s story is that it was created by accident, a joke amongst friends that turned into a real project. A crypto token’s utility can be set through its smart contract, but humans are the brains behind those contracts. The team at CareBuds have created Diamond Discovery to accept 420 Tokens as payments for advertising. Then a partnership with Strainz was formed so that all of the 420 themed crypto projects can easily integrate with each other and rise together.

All 420 hodlers will get Buds via airdrop when Buds launch. We’re aiming to send out the airdrops within 3 hours of launch. All 420 hodler addresses will be inspected by the airdrop smart contract to see the amount of 420 Tokens in the wallets, and matched 1:1 with Buds.

Once we start accepting 420 Tokens as payments, the tokens received are sent to a smart contract known as a CareBuds Zombie Wallet. It’s essentially a burn wallet, but only accepts CareBuds approved tokens. The amount of tokens in the wallets can be viewed publicly. Below is a break down of how 420 payments are handled:

420 payments for advertising on Diamond Discovery are sent straight to the zombie wallet and taken out of circulation. The CareBuds team will continue to improve DD and market it to the mass audience of DeFi crypto project owners.

420 payments for purchasing exclusive and limited edition Strainz NFTs will be first sent to a CareBuds bank wallet. 50% of the 420 Tokens will be exchanged on Pancakeswap or a similar DEX for Strainz. The amount of Strainz received will then be burned through the Strainz V3 smart contract on Bsc Scan. Remaining 420 Tokens will be sent to the zombie wallet, thereby removing them from circulation.

Buds is a deflationary token with a substantial amount of its total supply locked in a backup rewards pool. Transaction fees are distributed to charity and giveaway wallets, rewards pool, and liquidity. Buds hodlers are able to claim their Buds rewards every day. The backup rewards pool releases small amounts of Buds, depending on the amount currently accumulating from tx fees in the rewards pool. Buds are released from the backup rewards pool when milestones are achieved and/or on holidays.

Our ultimate goal is to increase demand and utility of CareBuds tokens, while we continue to cut supply. That way the healthy volume of transactions, be it buys or sells, will contribute the cycle of a well-oiled money machine.

We’re actively networking with 420 friendly businesses, dispensaries, and farms. Cannabuds directory is a community site that will offer a safe space for 420 enthusiasts and vendors to connect with each other. Once the foundation is set up, we will start testing making tokens specifically for 420 themed trades.
